Botín Foundation opens record call for training public leaders in Latin America

 

With the firm purpose of promoting leadership and excellence in public service, the Botin Foundation has announced the opening of the XVI call by su aclamado Program for Strengthening the Civil Service in Latin AmericaThe official launch will take place on March 3 at 18:00 p.m., through an online event that will feature the participation of prominent representatives of the Botín Foundation and its associated institutions: the Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico), the University of the Andes (Colombia) and the Getulio Vargas Foundation (Brazil).

 

"This program represents a unique opportunity for young Latin Americans with a vocation for service," he stated. Javier Garcia Canete, Director of Programs at the Botín Foundation. "We seek to train ethical, proactive leaders committed to the development of their countries."

 

The program seeks to train future leaders of the public sector, instilling values ​​of integrity, vocation of service and proactivity through a multidisciplinary and enriching training experience.

 

The program, which has consolidated its prestige over fifteen editions, offers comprehensive training that covers everything from theory to practice, with stays in Mexico, Spain, Colombia and BrazilParticipants have the opportunity to interact with top-level experts, visit key institutions and take part in personal development activities, such as stages of the Camino de Santiago and outdoor training sessions.

One of the program's highlights is its focus on developing leadership and management skills, as well as fostering a strong and diverse network. With a proven track record of effectiveness, the program has achieved a 60% success rate in its graduates working in the public sector, holding prominent positions in their respective countries.
