The draft Pistelli Engineering has been presented at the Federation of Soriana Business Organizations (FOES), where your president, Santiago Aparicio, and the mayor of Almazán, Jesus Cedazo, have welcomed him after the opening of tenders for the procedure that will lead the company to the final award of two plots of 10.900 meters in the La Dehesa industrial estate in the Adnamantina town.
Captured by Invest in Soria, the project of the Brazilian-Portuguese group – whose parent company is located in Brazil– will create 31 jobs progressively over the next 5 years, with an investment of 1,5 million euros.
“For us it is a great success to be able to announce in the middle of the pandemic investment projects that will generate employment and wealth from day one in the province, starting with the construction of the plant and the payment of municipal taxes,” considered the president of FOES in his presentation to the press.
For 5 months now, Invest in Soria works with Pistelli Engineering, “so that they could see that Soria is the best place to invest,” he explained Aparicio, who has detailed the process. "We accompany them to various locations in the province, we bring them closer to Spanish legality in different areas (labor, financial, tax,...), we have guided them through the entire process of creating the company in Spain: from registration in foreigners as non-EU citizens (the company has Brazilian partners) until the signing of the articles of incorporation of the company,” he listed.
Invest in Soria has extended its help – “proactive” in the words of Aparicio – in the bidding process for the plots of the industrial estate of Almazán, "since these processes are unknown for companies that come from outside the country."
The project led by FOES will continue to support the company in everything they need: subsidy management, talent recruitment, legal, labor, tax advice... "and everything you need until your project rolls out and of course afterwards, being at your disposal. their side and helping them as we do with each and every one of our Soria companies,” summarized the president of the Soria employers' association.
Invest in Soria, a business recruitment project led by FOES, has been in operation since its launch in November 2017 and continues with its active business recruitment strategy, despite the lack of institutional and economic support.
This is not the first time Invest in Soria brings companies to the Adamantine town. “There have been multiple attempts and visits with companies that we have made to the Almazán industrial estate, with this and with the previous Corporation,” Aparicio acknowledged, who has quantified the level of success of Invest in Soria with the companies that it has at 40%. has led to a visit to the Almazán industrial estate.
“A good day for the entire business community and for Soria society.” This is how he welcomed the Brazilian-Portuguese group Jesús Cedazo, the mayor of the Villa, which highlighted the success of Invest in Soria, calling it “a great project that bears fruit that is due to the work of this team, with the general director of FOES, Mª Ángeles Fernández, as well as the director of Invest in Soria, Andrés Sienes, to the head".
In Cedazo's opinion, "Soria has a provincial project to attract companies and we must pamper it among all administrations because it works."
With presence in Europe, United States and countries of the southern American cone for more than 30 years, Pistelli Ingeniera is a pioneer company in logistics storage and roof structures, which focuses on the marketing and rental of inflatable structures, structured warehouses and tensioned roofs.
Pistelli's arrival is the result of the company's contact with the project led by FOES Invest in Soria, with whom the group contacted to evaluate the possibility of expanding its facilities in the province.
The group has found in Almazán the ideal location to build its new factory since the town has “a strategic, privileged geographical location that is perfect for Pistelli's expansion plans in Spain and Europe”, as the company highlights in its proposal.
“Almazán serves as an entrance to the northern market of Spain and the port of Europe and the Douro corridor It unites us with Portugal, which is one of the bases of our business, and serves as a natural means of communication between Barcelona, Valencia and Porto in a magnificent East-West axis,” the company explains in its project.
From Almazán, the group accesses not only the European continent, but also manages to increase its presence in the north of Africa and the Arab countries “areas with which Pistelli has many clients and a complete market.”
