The Chamber of Spain and Spirits of Spain will jointly promote the internationalization and digitalization of the sector

The general secretary of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Adolfo Díaz-Ambrona and the director of Spirits Spain, Bosco Torremocha, have signed a collaboration agreement between both institutions with the aim of jointly promoting competitiveness, internationalization, digitalization and positioning of the spirits sector.

 

The agreement, which will have an execution period of four years renewable upon agreement, establishes different areas of joint activities:

 

• Promote the training and entrepreneurship of operators in the spirits industry.

• Promote communication and interaction between national spirits companies.

• Facilitate the sharing of good business practices and the definition of strategies to defend the corporate interests of the Spanish spirits industry.

• Promote the internationalization of companies in the sector.

• Develop actions aimed at promoting knowledge and responsible and moderate consumption of spirits.

• Promote the digitalization of companies in the national spirits sector.

• Any other action that the parties consider appropriate to promote the competitiveness of companies in the spirits industry and the promotion of business arbitration and mediation.

In addition, the agreement also establishes that the Chamber of Spain may invite the Spanish Federation of Spirits to attend the sessions of the agri-food industry commission of the Plenary Session of the Chamber of Spain.

For the director of Spirits Spain, Bosco Torremocha, “this alliance that we signed today with the Chamber of Commerce is of vital importance for the spirits sector since it will contribute to boosting its activity and positioning and promoting training, entrepreneurship and digitalization.”
