La European School – Intermodal Transport, represented by its Director, Eduard Rodes, and Marta Miquel, Business Development Director, has sealed a strategic alliance with the Spanish Federation of Freight Forwarders (FETEIA-OLTRA). Representing the latter were its president, Enric Tico, and its director, Blanca GuitartThe primary objective of the agreement is to promote training in digitalisation for freight forwarders at national level.
The program DIGITAL GOING will take place from April 7 to 11, 2025 and will offer a 25-hour online course that will combine theory and practice under a constructivist approach. Participants will learn about systems such as the e-Bill of Lading and e-CMR, in addition to the innovative use of Port Virtual Lab (PVL), a platform that simulates real logistics operations in a safe environment.
This course is designed to train professionals in the International trade, freight forwarders and logistics operators in the use of advanced and innovative digital tools. It also seeks to improve data-driven decision-making and promote sustainability in logistics operations.
The agreement reflects the joint commitment of both institutions to lead the digital transformation of international trade. In this regard, Eduard Rodes commented: “We are convinced that these types of initiatives are essential to remain competitive in an increasingly connected market.”
