The French Embassy and the Institut Français launch 77 'AVENIR' scholarships, twice as many as last year, in collaboration with Diálogo

Third edition of the 'AVENIR' excellence scholarships

These scholarships for excellence, which allow students to study and train in France during the 2017/18 academic year, are supported by companies, public bodies and academic centres.

For the third consecutive year, French Embassy and the Institut Français, In collaboration with Dialogue, Spanish-French Friendship Association, launch a new call for the 'AVENIR' excellence scholarships for the 2017/18 academic year.

 

Given the success of previous editions and thanks to the support of companies and public bodies of Spain y France and higher education and excellence centres in France, the number of scholarships has increased. This time, a total of 77 are offered, double that of last year and four times more than in the first call for applications.

 

These scholarships, aimed at Spanish students or those with dual Spanish-French nationality, aim to facilitate stays in France, the fourth country in the world to receive foreign students, to study at a university or "High School” or do internships in companies during the 2017/18 academic year. The amount of the grants can reach up to 10.000 euros. Applications can be submitted until April 15 through the Diálogo website.

In this edition, the scholarships are awarded by the following companies: Alstom (2) Carrefour (6) Dassault Systèmes(6) Engie (1) Abertis Foundation (1) Renault (1) Sopra-Steria (10);and the following public bodies: France embassy (3) EDHEC (3) ENSCM (4), ESA (1),Plas@Par (1) Rennes School of Business (2) Aix Marseille University (2) Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté (27) Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (3) and Grenoble Alpes University (5).

 

The required training profiles are very varied, as is the minimum level of studies, thus giving an opportunity to a wide range of students, who during their stay will be able to benefit from the multiple advantages that come with having the status of “boursier du gouvernementfrançais” (a scholarship from the French Government).
