The Secretary General of Emigration of the Xunta de Galicia, Antonio Rodriguez Miranda, has underlined the importance of the Galician community in Uruguay as a key economic driver and a bridge to new business opportunities. The statement was made during his participation in the Expo Prado 2025, one of the most important agro-industrial fairs in Latin America, held in Montevideo.
Together with the delegate of the Xunta in Uruguay, Elvira DomínguezMiranda visited the Spanish pavilion, where he had the opportunity to learn about various business and institutional promotion initiatives and speak with representatives of the Galician business community and the community linked to different productive sectors.
During his visit, the Secretary General emphasized "the active presence of the Galician community in the business and production sectors, as an example of their capacity for integration, entrepreneurship, and contribution to the economic development of their host countries."
