La German Chamber of Commerce for Spain has launched, in collaboration with leading German companies in the country, the campaign «Inspiring talents, building futures"This initiative falls within the Chamber's annual thematic focus,Talent. Training. Employment".", which will be the guiding thread of its agenda of activities for 2024.
The campaign has the participation of renowned companies such as Allianz Seguros, BASF, Bayer, Catenon, Commerzbank, Europcar Mobility Group, Merck, Siemens, SIXT, Solarwatt, T-Systems and Volkswagen Group Distribution.
The aim of the campaign is to address the growing concern about the talent shortage in the labor market and highlight the importance of having qualified staff to meet the challenges of a constantly evolving business environment. Through 12 clips, the CEOs and HR managers of these companies share their strategies for attracting and retaining talent, inviting those interested to learn more about their organizations through the platform. Osmar Polo, President of the German Chamber of Commerce for Spain and CEO of T-Systems, highlighted the importance of this initiative: “At the German Chamber of Commerce we are aware that talent is won over with value propositions, with a solid commitment and quality employment that offers talent prospects at all stages of development.”
The campaign also serves as a prelude to two important events organized by the Chamber: the VIII Spanish-German Business Meeting, which will take place on October 24th in Barcelona, and the Delivery of the Excellence Award 2024, scheduled for October 23.
In addition to Osmar Polo, key figures from the business world have participated in the campaign, such as: Catalina Guevara Santamaria, Director of People and Culture at Allianz Insurance, Carles Navarro, general director of BASF Spanish, and Agustín Escobar, president and CEO of Siemens Spain, among others.
The German Chamber thus continues its commitment to promoting quality employment, following the success of its previous campaign "For a competitive, resilient and sustainable Europe" launched in 2023.
