The Madrid Chamber of Commerce opens registration for the "Portugal Business Mission 2024"

La Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid organizes the «Portugal Business Mission 2024«, an event that will take place from October 8 to 11 with the aim of promoting business cooperation and trade exchanges between Spanish and Portuguese companies from various sectors.

 

Portugal represents a close and priority market for Spain, its main commercial partner. With more than 2.000 Spanish companies established in the Portuguese country and an economy that is expected to grow by 2% in 2024 and 2025, the interest in establishing collaboration agreements and commercial exchanges with Portuguese companies is ever increasing.

Sectors of interest

The Portugal 2024 Business Mission is especially aimed at companies in the sectors of:

• Automotive
• Food
• Agricultural and livestock technology
• ICT
• Biotechnology and health
• Digital economy
• Petrochemical
• Logistics
• Environmental technologies
• Renewable energy

Companies that participate in the mission will have the opportunity to:

• Transfer technology and know-how
• Establish subcontracting agreements
• Prospect the Portuguese market

• Invest or appoint a representative in Portugal

Comprehensive support for internationalization

Participating companies will have agendas for in-person or virtual meetings with different profiles of Portuguese companies (wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, representatives, etc.) and specialized advice for access to the Portuguese market.

In addition, the Madrid Chamber of Commerce offers companies the possibility of obtaining financing of up to 100% in internationalization programs, such as Business Missions, which have a 50% bonus.
