The PICE program of the Chamber of Spain will have a stand at AULA 2017

From March 1 to 5

The technicians of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce will offer information on the Comprehensive Qualification and Employment Programme (PICE), whose objective is to improve the employability of young people between 16 and 29 years of age who neither study nor work.

La Chamber of Commerce of Spain will be present at the International Student and Educational Offering Fair AULA 2017, which is held at the fairgrounds of IFEMA from March 1st to 5th, through the Comprehensive Qualification and Employment Program.

 

El PICE will have a stand in Hall 12 where young people will be informed about the characteristics of this program designed to facilitate access to the labor market for people between 16 and 29 years of age previously registered in the National Youth Guarantee System. The Program is funded by the European Social Fund.  

 

The experts of the Chamber of Spain They will resolve the doubts of those interested in the two training plans of the Program: the Training Plan and the Mobility Plan.

 

The first is a training itinerary that consists of a core phase that includes language training, digital skills and skills for employment, and a second phase of specific training oriented to a job or profession: from lifeguard to sommelier, through administrative management of international trade, digital photo editing or web programming, among many others.

 

El Mobility Plan, which will be launched in the second half of the year, offers the opportunity to improve professional skills in countries of the European Union.

 

 

The PICE programme has enabled 1.305 young people to access the labour market

 

 

All the activities of the PICE program in AULA They can be followed on social media using the hashtag #GeneraciónPICE. Young people who come to the stand will be able to take a photo recreating the profession they hope to pursue in the future.

Since its launch in January 2015, 51.312 young people have enrolled in the PICE throughout SpainOf this figure, 41.916 have received professional guidance, 21.392 core training (languages, ICTs and social skills) and 14.185 specific training for the job. The Chambers have also accompanied 4.434 young people on company visits.

 

These training activities have enabled 1.305 young people participating in PICE to find employment through the Chambers of Commerce.

El Student and Educational Offer Hall AULA This year marks its 25th anniversary, consolidating itself as one of the most comprehensive forums on the educational panorama for parents, students and teachers. The Fair has had international status since 1999, which allows the most prestigious institutions from around the world to concentrate on Madrid for a few days to present its training offer.

 

CLASSROOM It has become a meeting in which the entire educational community actively participates, reflecting on and building the education of the future. The fair is part of Education Week, which also includes the celebration of other meetings such as the Postgraduate Forum, Interdidac (International Exhibition of Educational Materials), Resources for Education and Expolearning. In its last edition, 395 companies, entities and institutions from 37 countries participated in Education Week. The number of visitors exceeded 134.000.
