A tribute to joint work and collaboration

As part of the gala, the Hispanic-Portuguese Chamber awarded two awards for Business Excellence: one to a Portuguese company and the other to a Spanish one.

Fidelity, a leading Portuguese company in the insurance sector with a presence in Spain since 1995, received the award for Portuguese Business Excellence. Juan Arsuaga, administrator and member of the Executive Committee of Fidelidade, thanked the award and highlighted the company's commitment to a "unified and collaborative Iberian perspective", dedicated to excellence and teamwork.

CaixaBank, a Spanish financial entity, was awarded the prize for Spanish Business Excellence for the development, in collaboration with Banco BPI, of an integrated service with specific products and operations for companies operating in Portugal. Javier PanoCaixaBank's chief financial officer stated that the history of collaboration between the two entities dates back more than 25 years, and that the "excellent coordination" and the "permanent exchange of know-how" have been key to the success of the initiative.

Tribute to João Mira Gomes

João Mira Gomes, Portuguese ambassador to Spain, received the João Flores Honorary AwardThe award recognizes individuals who have contributed to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries. Mira Gomes expressed his honor at receiving the award and emphasized the importance of making the Iberian Peninsula a "global benchmark," following the path taken by others and which gives the award its name.
