An international meeting of maximum relevance
The representatives of the Pymes Platform explained the concept of inclusive capitalism as a way to overcome the current situation of economic uncertainty that the world economy is going through, and to promote productivity through equal opportunities between companies.

La SME Platform -intersectoral association that brings together business associations and federations, which represent 2.500.000 SMEs and self-employed workers throughout Spain– met for the first time with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, OECD, last Friday, April 5 in Paris. At the meeting there were Lamia Kamal-Chaoui, Director of the OECD Center for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities; Lucia Cusmano, Head of Division of the Center for the Self-Employed, SMEs, regions and cities of the OECD; Miriam Koreen, Senior Consultant of the Center; Jose Luis Roca, President of the Pymes Platform; Joseph Gonzalez, Vice President of the Pymes Platform; Julio Villaescusa, Vice President of the Pymes Platform and John Joseph Gil, General Secretary of Fenadismer.
At the meeting, representatives of the SME Platform They explained the concept of inclusive capitalism as a way to overcome the current situation of economic uncertainty that the world economy is going through, and to promote productivity through equal opportunities between companies with an ex ante and not ex post distribution of income, as she herself also pointed out OECD in November 2018 at the press conference to present economic perspectives, as well as the importance of ending the dominant position of superfirms that reduce productivity from the economy. Both organizations showed the future importance of inclusive growth and its development through SMEs and the self-employed.
La SME Platform thanks to the OECD who requested this meeting and, in particular, the interest that an organization of global relevance has shown in learning about this project. The SME Platform wanted to start its agenda of meetings with state and supra-state entities with this highly relevant international meeting. In the words of José Luis Roca, President of Platform Pymes, “It is necessary to defend inclusive capitalism to improve the productivity of the economy through SMEs and autonomous.”
Likewise, the Platform explained in detail the objectives of the organization and committed to Lamia Kamal-Chaoui, the Director of the OECD Center for Entrepreneurs and SMEs, to exchange criteria and positions with the SME Platform in all those studies and works that could be of interest to both parties.
