The Spanish Chamber promotes the technological entrepreneurial ecosystem at the 4YFN in Barcelona

The president of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, José Luis Bonet , kicked off the institution's participation in Four Years From Now (4YFN) , the parallel event to the Mobile World Congress dedicated to technological entrepreneurship. Bonet highlighted the favorable environment that Spain offers for the development of startups, especially in the technology sector, and the importance of these companies for the country's economic growth.

"Startups are essential for the Spanish economy to take another qualitative leap. They bring innovation and digitalization, contributing to greater and better economic development," Bonet stated during the inauguration of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce's stand in Hall 8.1 of the venue.

The Spanish Chamber of Commerce's presence at 4YFN is manifested through various activities and events, with the aim of providing information and support to entrepreneurs throughout the country. Experts from the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and several regional chambers, including those in Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid, Terrassa, Álava, Bilbao, Sabadell, Tarragona, Soria, Cáceres, and Torrelavega , are present at the stand to provide information about the network's entrepreneurship programs.

One of the standout programs is " Impulsa Startup ," designed to create and accelerate technology-based startups. This program, which has already benefited 320 entrepreneurs with 180 projects, consists of two phases: " Crea y Crece" (Create and Grow) and "Despega" (Take Off).

In the first phase, " Create and Grow ," entrepreneurs learn to develop a minimum viable product (MVP) through training, mentoring, and guidance from local business owners and entrepreneurs. The second phase, "Take Off," aims to boost 250 projects and startups this year, providing specialized mentoring and expert guidance, culminating in a Demo Day with a €4.800 prize.

“Our goal is to provide entrepreneurs with the tools and support they need to turn their ideas into successful projects,” said a spokesperson for the Spanish Chamber of Commerce. “Through ‘Impulsa Startup,’ we are creating an ecosystem that fosters innovation and economic growth.”

In addition to its stand, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce is participating in various presentations and panel discussions during 4YFN. On Monday, March 3, the institution participated in the panel discussion "Boost Startups, Begin Your Journey," organized by Banc Sabadell. On Tuesday, March 4, an inspirational talk on "AI and Startup Funding" was offered on the Agora Stage. On Wednesday, March 5, Carlos López Blanco , president of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce's Digitalization Committee, will give a presentation on the challenges of artificial intelligence on the Founders Stage.

The participation of the Spanish Chamber in the 4YFN reflects the institution's commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in the country, providing a space for entrepreneurs to connect, learn and grow.
