The 'UNO Logistics Leaders Awards' return for the sixth year to Logistics & Automation

 

 

Madrid is preparing to host, once again, the prestigious UNO Logistics Leaders Awards . The UNO Logística trade association and the Logistics & Automation trade fair, organized by Easyfairs , are reaffirming their partnership to celebrate the sixth edition of these awards, solidifying their position as a key event for the sector. The ceremony will take place on October 15, 2025 , between 12:30 pm and 14:30 pm, in Hall 10 of IFEMA Madrid.

 

These awards, once again supported by Mercedes-Benz Spain as official sponsor, aim to recognize the excellence, innovation, and commitment of professionals and companies leading the way in supply chain transformation. They seek to highlight the impact of projects that not only shape the future of the logistics sector but also boost its competitiveness both nationally and internationally.

 

Francisco Aranda , president of UNO, expressed his satisfaction with the continuation of this agreement. "This strategic alliance represents a firm step in our commitment to promoting logistics as an engine of transformation and business growth," Aranda stated. He also emphasized the importance of Logistics & Automation as "an essential benchmark for the sector, where we can learn firsthand about the advances, innovations, and trends that are defining the present and future of our industry."

 

For Aranda, the UNO Awards are "one of the most anticipated events of the year for the entire logistics ecosystem, where we recognize the talent, best practices, operational excellence, and strategic vision of companies and professionals who are shaping the future of logistics both within and beyond our national and international markets." He concluded that "holding these awards again within the framework of the trade fair allows us to continue generating value, fostering the exchange of knowledge, and highlighting the key role that logistics plays in the competitiveness of our economy. For his part, Óscar Barranco , CEO of Easyfairs Iberia , emphasized the strategic value of these awards. “They have become a key event for the logistics sector. The deadline for submitting nominations for the 'LEADERS of Logistics 2025 Awards' is August 25th . Awards will be given in various categories, including: 'Mercedes-Benz Sustainable Logistics' , 'Logistics Innovation and Entrepreneurship' , 'Business Digitization' , 'Logistics Internationalization' , 'Logistics Communication' , 'Logistics Professional of the Year' , and the 'Special Logistics Award 2025'.

 

Companies, institutions, and professionals interested in participating can submit their applications through the UNO Logística website. The process involves completing a form with a concise description of the entity or project, the merits supporting their application, and any additional relevant information. A jury composed of members of UNO's Board of Directors, including the CEOs of the main logistics and transportation companies in Spain, will evaluate all the proposals received. The decision will be announced during the awards ceremony at Logistics & Automation 2025.
