A particularly significant aspect of this investment flow is the predominance of new investments, which represent 65,7% of the total. According to the regional minister, this percentage "exceeds the best figures for this variable since 2007 and is notably higher than that corresponding to acquisitions and other expansions." La sectoral diversification of Foreign investment is also notable. The food industry leads the way with €197 million (17,8% of the total), followed by programming, consulting, and other related activities (€166 million, 15,1%), electrical equipment manufacturing (€150 million, 13,6%), and energy supply (€108 million, 9,7%). Significant transactions have also been recorded in healthcare activities, rental activities, and architectural and engineering technical services.
