The signing of the agreement was attended by the Director General of Relations with Africa, Luis Padilla Macabeo; the Director of Proexca, Eduardo Pintado Mascareño; the Director of the Madeira Community Funds Management Institute, Silvio Costa; and the Director of the Madeira Business Development Institute, Jorge Faria. The signatory Chambers of Commerce will collaborate on organizing meetings and scheduling contacts between businesspeople and public and private institutions in the Macaronesian archipelagos, fostering the growth of trade relations between the regions and encouraging direct investment from other regions.
