In the conference: "Barcelona Free Zone, factory of opportunities”, which he delivered within the lunch-colloquium cycle Cambra Dinars organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona, ​​​​Navarro has reflected on the work of economic revitalization carried out by the Free Zone Consortium, the fixation of talent and innovation and the projection of the image of Barcelona, as a “vibrant and creative” city that in this international summit “We want it to shine and pulsate like on the best occasions.”

 

In this regard, he explained that the Consortium has attracted Barcelona for June 26 and 28, 2019 WFZO World Congress of Free Zones, ALACAT Congress of Freight Agents and Logistics Operators of Latin America, the International Congress of Authorized Economic Operators OAS, a new edition of the International Logistics and Maintenance Exhibition (SIL) and the eDelivery electronic commerce congress.

 As projects that must make possible the maintenance of the competitiveness of Barcelona within the globalized economy, Navarro has cited the strategic axis DFactory that promotes your entity so that Barcelona be an advanced productive node in the new technologies of the 4.0 economy.

 

He pointed out that the two unique projects of this axis are the European high-tech incubator 3DFactory Incubator, which will open in early 2019 at the headquarters of the Consortium, occupying more than 600 square meters by companies specialized in additive printing projects (100 companies over the next 5 years), and the manufacturing hub DFactory 4.0 Barcelona, which will be developed as an innovation ecosystem in the heart of the industrial estate, with an investment of more than 17 million euros
