[Img # 22896]When we think about traveling we think about rest, pleasure, adventure... but the reality is that most people who travel do so for work and for Business.

The loneliness of hotel rooms, cancelled flights, jet lag, one meeting after another and the nerves of attracting that new client generate added stress to the logistics of this type of travel. Faced with this situation, many travellers see it as one of the advantages of their job, taking advantage of the opportunity to stay and take a holiday to enjoy time alone, while for others it becomes their worst nightmare, affecting their work activity.

Wanup, First Global Hotel Loyalty Club which brings together various hotels with various traveler profiles, has conducted an internal study to define the four types of Business travelers in Spain and their needs.

The luxury traveler

This type of traveler works in multinationals or large companies so money is not a problem and all their needs must be met. They always travel in bussines and stay in luxury hotels to receive continuous and personalized attention, which is why they tend to be very loyal to their brand. The benefits that they most enjoy and value in an establishment are its modern facilities and executive services such as dry cleaning.

The timeless traveler

We are talking about the type of traveller who is always rushing everywhere due to their busy schedule and who place a high value on their leisure time. They can travel in business or tourist class depending on the circumstances, as their work requires flexibility when planning trips. They need to enjoy rewarding experiences in just a few hours, so they choose hotels with services such as a gym or swimming pool to compensate for their work day. In addition, they are usually establishments close to airports or fairs and conferences.

The Idle Traveler

The most common type of traveller is the one who needs to combine work and leisure. More than half of business travellers always reserve a few days for rest and tourism at their destination, a growing trend known as bleisure. This profile is independent and entrepreneurial, always choosing centrally located hotels to take advantage of the city's advantages such as shopping or discovering the most touristic spots.

Digital travelers

The digital traveler retransmits all the moments of his business trip They also use social media apps to meet people in the city where they are staying. They are the new generation of frequent travelers, young entrepreneurs and people who see business trips as another opportunity offered by their work. They travel in economy class and choose boutique hotels with free Wi-Fi as an essential requirement, as it is extremely necessary to stay connected and continue working.
