El Moldtrans Group, a leading Spanish operator of international land, sea, air, national distribution, logistics, trade fair logistics and customs, has launched a new warehouse in Seville. These modern logistics facilities have with an area of ​​5.000 m2 and will allow us to respond to the growing volume of activity of the group in the Andalusian community, where it has been present since 2012.

 

The new Moldtrans Group warehouse is located in the Logistics Activities Zone (ZAL) of the Andalusian capital, within the Port of Seville. It is an important logistics node that provides storage and distribution services to the entire Andalusia, Extremadura, the Canary Islands and North Africa. It stands out especially for its multimodal connectivity covering sea, rail, air and road transport.

 

In this strategic location, the Moldtrans Group has new 5.000 m2 facilities. This surface is divided between 3.500 m2 intended for logistics and storage activities, with a capacity of 3.000 pallets; another 500 m2 dedicated to cross docking activities to speed up the transit of goods; and 1.000 m2 of offices, to which the Seville delegation of the Moldtrans Group has moved.

 

In order to streamline operations, the warehouse is equipped with 10 loading docks and 2 ramps, which optimizes the loading process. loading and unloading of goods. This aspect is essential given the recent launch by the Moldtrans Group of a national distribution service that includes daily connections between the different delegations of the company in the Iberian Peninsula and its regular traffic with Europe. 

 

The new facilities also have state-of-the-art fire and alarm systems, thus guaranteeing the maximum integrity of the stored merchandise. They also incorporate modern warehouse management systems and traceability of stored merchandise to provide maximum stock visibility to customers.
