The President of the Generalitat closed the event by stating that "the Port of Castellón has significant investments that will contribute to giving dynamism and impetus to the province of Castellón and will allow the consolidation of the growth of PortCastelló."
Subsequently, the first stone was laid for the northern expansion works, an action that consists of extending the current Levante dike by 282 meters and building a new breakwater with two alignments of 997 and 1277 meters.
