Interested in implementing the Investment Acceleration Unit (UNAI)
The Ministry of Economy, Finance and Business, through the Development Institute (Info), has shared its experience in attracting investments with the authorities and businessmen of the Chilean region of Araucanía.

In the framework of the International Seminar on Investment Attraction «Araucanía: Endless Opportunities», held in Chile, the Autonomous Community presented its Investment Acceleration Unit model (UNAI) as an example of success that can be replicated in other territories.
The UNAI, a pioneering initiative in the Region of Murcia, has been internationally recognized for its effectiveness in energizing the business community and attracting foreign investments. The seminar, which brought together more than 150 participants, served as a platform to present the competitive advantages of Araucanía to potential investors and explore possible synergies with Murcian companies.
An exportable model for economic development
The Minister of Economy, Finance and Business, Luis Alberto MarinDuring his speech, he emphasized that "the Region of Murcia is not only an attractive place to invest, but is also capable of exporting successful initiatives like UNAI, which can contribute to economic development and growth anywhere in the world."
Marín emphasized that the implementation of UNAI in Araucanía will make the Chilean region the first locality in the country to adopt this model, setting an important precedent for attracting investments in Latin America.
Investment opportunities in Araucanía for Murcian companies
The seminar also served as a platform to explore the investment opportunities that the Araucanía region offers to Murcian companies. Strategic sectors with high potential for collaboration were identified, such as aquaculture, meat and dairy products, the fruit industry, ICT, biotechnology, tourism, the carbon sector and the creative industries.
The authorities of both regions expressed their commitment to continue strengthening ties of collaboration and promoting the exchange of experiences and good practices in terms of attracting investments. The seminar is outlined as an important step to strengthen economic relations between the Region of Murcia and Chile, and to open new business opportunities for companies in both regions.
