The Region of Murcia, through Info, launches the Internationalization Scholarships

Within the framework of the Murcia Region Foreign Promotion Plan

These scholarships aim to provide specialized training in business internationalization for young university students with knowledge of foreign trade and languages, with stays in various Economic and Commercial Offices of the Spanish Embassies.

Thanks to these scholarships, the beneficiaries gain experience in international trade, learning the internal mechanisms of the export sector and business culture in markets of interest to the business fabric of the Region of Murcia, while delving into techniques of market research and foreign trade, as well as in international business management, which will facilitate entry into the labor market upon return. Murcia, contributing to the incorporation of talent in regional SMEs.

 

Each scholarship recipient will receive a gross annual award between a minimum of 23.000 and a maximum of 41.000 euros, depending on destination.

 

In addition to the previous provision, the Development Institute will assume: the amount of the round trip to and from the destination; accident insurance and travel assistance; travel expenses at destination derived from carrying out training activities and visa issuance fees.

 

How do they work?

 

Those who meet and accredit the requirements will enter a selection process, following the criteria and phases described in the Regulatory Bases.

Once selected, candidates receive, before joining the different destinations, specialized training in International Trade.

In the destinations they will carry out their functions in coordination with the Development Institute and the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy where they are assigned.

 

Which are the requirements?

 

Prove residence in the Region of Murcia at the time of publication of the corresponding call for at least one year uninterruptedly.

Not be 30 years old on the date indicated in the corresponding call.

Be in possession, at the time of submitting the application, of an official university qualification of at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent that allows access to postgraduate studies.

Mastery of the Spanish language.

Spoken and written command of the English language at least level B2 in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Not having enjoyed or received any benefit in the form of a scholarship aimed at specializing in topics related to the internationalization of the company granted by public administrations, Chambers of Commerce, or other Trade Promotion Organizations, regardless of the source of their financing.
