Global Entrepreneurship Challenge
The winners received a total of 120.000 euros in prizes during a ceremony held in
Silicon Valley (USA), cradle of global innovation.

The winners of the global entrepreneurship challenge have been announced Santander X Global Challenge | The AI
Revolution, promoted by Santander, Microsoft and Oxentia Foundation, during an event held at the
campus of Microsoft in Silicon Valley (USA), with various officials from the financial institution and the
technology, together with industry experts and investors.
The challenge recognizes new and expanding companies that use the artificial intelligence (AI) to help the
society to overcome important challenges.
The six winners, three startups and three scaleups, have stood out among more than 540 participants from 11 countries.
The Spanish Dive Medical, which offers a universal comprehensive visual function screening solution for
evaluate children with neurological problems, has won one of the three awards in the category Startup.
Along with her, the Mexican has been awarded BioGrip, which develops an intelligent bionic system that allows
create artificial limbs and rehabilitation devices powered by AI & IoT, and the British heartfelt
Technologies, with a contactless and automatic telemonitoring solution for patients with
heart failure, have received an award in this category.
In category Scaleup, two other Spanish companies have obtained recognition: Orchestra,
solution that maximizes business profitability with automation and optimal planning of
employees; and Legitimate health, which improves the correct rate of medical diagnoses and facilitates data collection
objective, accurate and reliable clinical reports through an easy-to-use application. Along with them, the American
Splight, whose development with AI allows users to capture, monetize and use the energy generated.
The jury has also given an honorable mention to scaleup Smartex Europe (Portugal), a solution
for tissue diagnosis during the manufacturing process to reduce waste and increase margins.
More than 540 startups and scaleups from 11 countries have participated in this global challenge promoted by Santander,
Microsoft and Oxentia Foundation
The six winning projects will receive a total of 120.000 euros in prizes – 10.000 for each startup and
30.000 for each scaleup- and access to Santander X 100, the global community of entrepreneurial projects more
highlights of the bank. In addition, the winners will have access to the Microsoft Open AI API after the company's approval, as well as the opportunity to present their projects to M12, the technology company's Venture Capital.
