This meeting will present the activities of the European Investment Bank, as well as the European Union's strategy in Latin America, framed within the initiative global gateway, designed by the European Commission (DG INTPA), and its portfolio of strategic projects. An initiative aimed at supporting EU partner countries by combining the interests and activities of European companies in the region from a political and financial perspective.
This is a unique opportunity to learn about the context and specific initiatives of the EU, through the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Commission in key sectors within the Global Gateway framework, such as energy, transportation, digitalization, mining, water, global health, and education, among others.
Some of the financial tools available for the internationalization of European and Spanish companies will also be presented, framed in the new global context and the future of relations between the European Union and Latin America, as well as the institution's lines of action and its priorities for the coming years.
This important event, aimed at companies and institutions with interests and/or presence in the Ibero-American region, will feature representatives from prominent public and private institutions, both Spanish and European.
The event is primarily aimed at companies with medium and large investments, around 100 million euros and above; active as capital investor, supplier of equipment and services, or purchase of raw materials extracted or processed in the region.
