The TYPSA/Ramboll consortium has been awarded two of the three contracts for the preliminary and detailed design of the new yellow metro line that will connect Fridhemsplan and Älvsjö in StockholmThis 8-kilometre underground section, which will include six stations and pass through the bedrock beneath Lake Mälaren, is part of Sweden's national transport infrastructure development plan, funded by the Swedish government and the municipalities of the region. The project, which will benefit from the expertise of both companies in underground stations and structures, is scheduled to begin in autumn 2024 and continue until the completion of the yellow line.
