Valencian wines conquer Poland with a resounding success at the Spanish Wine Fair

 

The heart of warsaw, in the elegant restaurant Villa Foksal, became the scene of an intense day of promotion of Spanish wines, with a special focus on the Valencian Community. Ivace+i International, the body dependent on the Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism, which directs Marian Cano, organised the grouped participation of seven Valencian wineries. This initiative responds to the strategy of promoting the presence of the region's wines in key international markets, such as Poland.

 

Ester OlivasThe Director General of Entrepreneurship and Internationalization highlighted the importance of this event, aimed exclusively at professionals in the sector: "The wine market in Poland It presents very interesting opportunities for the wine sector of the Valencian Community, given the growth and evolution of wine consumption in this country, with a gradual rise in wine prices in recent years."

 

The profile of the Polish consumer is evolving, showing a growing interest in higher-quality wines. "This is a market where grape wine consumption is increasing and where the sector is becoming more sophisticated, with consumers more willing to buy higher-quality wines, and where 'wines from the Valencian Community have a place'," Olivas added.

 

The seven participating Valencian wineries had the opportunity to present 57 of their best wines to importers, representatives of the Horeca channel (hotels, restaurants and cafes), managers of specialty shops and members of wine clubs. The response was very positive, according to Olivas: "The wineries have conveyed their positive feedback and the suitability of participating in actions like this, which is highly specialized and aimed at a professional audience with purchasing power."

 

Among the Polish companies attending the event were prominent names in the sector, such as AMKA, Centrum Wina, Dar Wina, Dekanter, Dom Wina and Jnt Group, which underlines the interest and potential that Valencian wines have in the Polish market.

 

The participation of Valencian wineries has strengthened commercial ties between the Valencian community and Poland, and it is expected that as a result, exports of Valencian wines to this country will significantly increase.

 

This event has been a unique opportunity to consolidate the presence of Valencian wines in Poland and to explore new avenues of collaboration with the Polish wine sector.
