Conference “Learning to be an entrepreneur: comparative analysis Spain and USA”

The United States Embassy and Amway bring together experts and authorities in the field to analyze the state of entrepreneurship in Spain and the U.S.


 
 
Is it possible to learn to be an entrepreneur? What are the differences between Spain and the United States, a leading country in self-employment? These were some of the questions discussed at the conference “Learning to be an Entrepreneur: A Comparative Analysis.” Spain and USA"organized by Amway in collaboration with the United States Embassy in Madrid." The objective has been to reflect on the role played by educational institutions and public entities in preparing young people for entrepreneurship.
 
 
The results of the Amway Global Entrepreneurship StudyA study applied to more than 43 people from 38 countries indicates that in Spain there is an increasing interest in starting self-employment and therefore a growing demand for training for entrepreneurs. 
 
 
She participated in the event Robert Jones, Commercial Counselor at the United States Embassy in Madrid who has highlighted the importance of the role that SMEs play in the global economy and the work being done to strengthen the relationship between Spanish and American small and medium-sized enterprises.
