Registration period open for the Master of Lifelong Training in Maritime Business Management and Associated Logistics

BERGÉ and the University of Cantabria have already trained more than 300 “homegrown” logistics professionals, through the Master of Lifelong Training in Maritime Business Management and Associated Logistics, whose next edition is already in preparation with a view to starting next 6 October.

The Master, entirely virtual, focuses training on knowledge of the latest innovations (logistics 4.0) and generating capabilities to seek the best technical solutions to problems related to the maritime business and logistics. In this way, students specialize, thus achieving profiles adapted to the needs of companies.

For the new edition, the registration period has already opened until next September 14 through the website of the University of Cantabria: https://web.unican.es/admision/acceso-a-titulos- own/pre-registration.

The program will have the support of the teaching staff of the University of Cantabria, as well as industry professionals, providing students with a broad first-hand academic and technical perspective.

The Master consists of 1.500 hours in 60 credits -19,30 theoretical credits and 40,70 practical credits-. The training includes, in addition to the preparation of the master's final project, Paid curricular internships in companies in the sector.

The training content covers the maritime business and logistics in a transversal way, from the activity of freight forwarding, regular lines or maritime brokers, to customs management, consignment or loading and unloading of ships and storage, through the management of energy resources.

To BERGÉ, this Master is part of its commitment to contribute to making a stronger and more competitive logistics sector and, in turn, transfer this contribution to the entire Spanish industry.
