The Spanish branch of ABX LOGISTICS, a logistics and transport subsidiary of the Belgian National Railway Company (SNCB), has recently reached an agreement with Domotermia, an Italian manufacturer of high-quality Beretta brand boilers, which is part of the Riello Industrial Group, to take charge of the integrated logistics of all the products that the Italian company currently markets in our country.
With this project, ABX LOGISTICS demonstrates its ability to directly provide all the necessary services to ensure the complete management of its clients' logistics processes, even when international transport is required. The company is thus putting into practice a fundamental concept that has shaped its international development in Spain and the other countries where it operates: "One Stop Shopping," meaning the ability to offer comprehensive logistics services throughout the entire supply chain.
ABX LOGISTICS' Spanish subsidiary has made a significant effort to expand its infrastructure, opening new logistics platforms in Vitoria, Valencia, Tarragona, and Alicante. Furthermore, the company plans to open two new centers in Andalusia and Galicia.
The constant growth of ABX LOGISTICS' Spanish subsidiary was reflected during the past year, in which a turnover of 107,08 million euros was reached, representing an 11% increase compared to the turnover achieved in 2000.
Therefore, ABX LOGISTICS has become one of the leading companies in the logistics and transport sector in Spain. It boasts one of the largest infrastructures operating in the country, comprising 17 branches (Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Gijón, Girona, Irún, Las Palmas, Madrid, Málaga, Murcia, Seville, Tarragona, Tenerife, Valencia, Vigo, Vitoria, and Zaragoza), totaling over 39.000 m² of warehouse space, and a fleet of more than 650 vehicles. Furthermore, it has a presence in 36 other countries with over 500 offices.
