The Secretary General of the Chamber of Spain, Adolfo Díaz-Ambrona, has participated in the Assembly of the Ibero-American Association of Chambers of Commerce (AICO), held in Buenos Aires. At the event, Mario Grinman, president of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services, has been elected as the new president of AICO, replacing Francisco Herrero, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Seville, who has led the organization since 2020.
La AICO, formally founded in Madrid in 1975, brings together the most representative Chambers of Commerce of 23 Latin American countries, as well as related corporations and companies. It is a private, non-profit international entity that promotes business development in the region. Grinman assumes the presidency at a key moment to strengthen trade relations between member countries.
The AICO Assembly remains a strategic forum for the exchange of ideas and the consolidation of links between business institutions in Latin America.
