At the same time, strategic meetings have been held with representatives of airports with which Castellón already maintains connections, such as those of Porto, Budapest, Krakow, Cluj, Milan and London Stansted. These bilateral meetings seek to explore and develop joint strategies that foster a two-way flow of passengers, thereby maximizing the performance of shared routes and strengthening ties between connected regions. Collaboration between airports is seen as a crucial tool for optimizing route management and offering a more seamless and engaging travel experience for users.

 

The event, which will be held in Seville from April 8 to 10, has become the stage where the Castellón delegation seeks to forge new alliances and present the growing potential of airport infrastructure to airlines.

 

 

Castellón Airport joins Routes Europe with a solid foundation for growth. This year, the airport operates a total of 14 scheduled routes, representing the largest flight offering in its history. This significant increase in connectivity is the result of a proactive strategy to attract new airlines and strengthen relationships with existing ones.

 

Among the most notable new features of this season are the addition of four new connections: Budapest, Krakow, Cluj and Palma de MallorcaThese new destinations significantly expand the range of options for travelers to and from Castellón, opening doors to markets with high tourism and business potential. These new routes join the already established connections with major European cities such as Berlin, Milan, London (via Stansted Airport), Brussels and Düsseldorf Weeze, as well as to the national destinations of Porto, Bucharest, Madrid, Asturias and Bilbao.

 

The ambitious schedule for this summer season, which runs from March to the end of October, reflects Castellón Airport's optimism and expectations for growth. More than 1.600 scheduled flights have been scheduled, resulting in 270.000 seats available for passengers.
