Alcalá Innova signs an agreement with Eserp to establish a Business School in Alcalá de Guadaíra

With the opening, the municipality becomes the first locality that, without being a capital city, has a business school

The Foundation for Sustainable Development of Alcalá de Guadaíra, Alcalá Innova, and the Eserp Business School University Foundation have signed a framework collaboration agreement for the implementation in the town of Alcalá de Guadaíra of a Business School, the first Eserp in Andalusia, which will respond to the training demand of the more than 3.000 companies that have the municipality of Alcalá de Guadaíra.

With the opening of this center, designed for the development, promotion and transmission of science and technology to Andalusian entrepreneurs, businessmen, managers and middle managers, Alcalá de Guadaíra becomes the first town that, without being a provincial capital, has a business school.

The agreement also outlines the collaboration between both entities in various educational, technological, and cultural fields, as well as their participation in joint projects at the Andalusian, national, and international levels. Furthermore, it highlights the interest of both the Alcalá Innova Foundation and the Eserp Foundation in collaborating with different socioeconomic sectors to contribute to innovation and the modernization of Andalusia's productive and social system through the development of teaching, research, and scientific and technological development activities.

According to the mayor of Alcalá de Guadaíra, Antonio Gutiérrez Limones, "this Business School will not be a simple educational center but will become a business meeting point through training." "Companies will come together to compete under the best conditions in the international market. For this reason, we need the support of business owners," he added.

The center will begin its journey on December 14 with a master's degree in business administration and management, taught by "the best academics from universities around the world, as well as researchers and senior executives from multinationals," said Eserp's managing director, José Barquero, who stated that "a large part of the 20.000 alumni of this school have shown their interest in contacting Alcalá business owners, which will allow local companies to open businesses abroad."

Barquero indicated that this master's program has been designed in response to the demands of Alcalá business owners and will emphasize both foreign trade and customer loyalty within the country.

Classes will be limited to 25-30 people, and the training will be both theoretical and practical. All courses will utilize a technological platform developed by Eserp and already used by multinational corporations. The use of these tools will allow students to put their learning into real-world practice. Sessions will be held every other weekend, Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. New in-person programs will be gradually expanded and developed until the training offering is complete.
