From March 4 to 6, 2025, the vibrant German capital has been the epicenter of world tourism, hosting the ITB Berlin. In this context, the Almeria Chamber of Commerce has played a key role in facilitating the participation of local tourism businesses, providing them with substantial financial support.
The program Global SME, with co-financing from funds SPRING, has allowed Almeria companies to access subsidies that cover 85% of the expenses related to their participation in the fair. This includes transportation costs, accommodation, food and entry to the event.
The financial aid has been distributed as follows: 429 euros for transport costs, 225 euros for accommodation and food costs (up to four days) and 80 euros for entry to the fair. In addition, additional funding of 7% of the eligible direct costs has been granted. In total, each beneficiary company has received up to 1.281,49 euros.
The participating companies have assumed the remaining 15% of the costs and have pre-financed all of them, subsequently receiving the 85% subsidy.
