Presents its PneumoSIP project
AlphaSIP is working on the design and manufacture of its PneumoSIP, a device capable of detecting the presence of pneumococci in saliva in less than three hours. This nanochip is being developed as part of an international project in collaboration with the University of Zaragoza.

PneumoSIP Development began on November 1st thanks to the support of the SME Instrument program, which rewards European SMEs with the greatest growth potential. AlphaSIP, which participates in several European projects, was selected from over 7 companies competing for funding. In total, the company will receive €3,7 million to finance development and clinical trial costs.
The system, which will represent significant savings for the medical environment and a major advance in improving patient treatment, is expected to be on the market in about two years, both in Europe and in other regions of the world.
