Amiblu Pipes Spain, subsidiary of Amiblu Group based in Austria, will actively participate in the development of the new 470 MW power plant located in Caucedo Point, 24 km from Santo Domingo. The collaboration is materializing through the successful bidder, TSK, consolidating Amiblu's experience in large-scale projects.
The San Felipe Combined Cycle Generator Plant is a fundamental pillar in the Dominican Republic's energy transitionDesigned to operate with natural gas and hydrogen, its main objective is to guarantee an electricity supply stable and flexible, in addition to significantly reducing CO2 emissions. This positions it as a key project for a more sustainable energy model clean, modern and sustainable.
The scope of the project for Amiblu includes the supply of 3 kilometers of GRP pipes up to DN1800 and PN 16, along with more than 800 accessories. These components will be essential for the lines of Water intake and the plant's main cooling water system. Amiblu will manage the project on a turnkey basis, encompassing everything from detailed engineering and material supply to assembly supervision. Production of the pipes and special fittings will begin next August and is expected to be completed in April 2026.
