Andalusia approves a program to reactivate the internationalization of companies

Bet on individualized attention for exporting companies

Establishes a map of business opportunities and measures to improve the liquidity of companies for an amount of 1,5 million.


 

Faced with the movement restrictions derived from the crisis caused by the Covid-19, the Andalusian Government launches the new roadmap to reactivate the internationalization of companies in this autonomous community.

 

El government council has become aware of the International Active Program, whose formulation was approved on June 2, which includes instruments and measures to reactivate the activity and the international Business Plans Andalusian companies, with the aim that the foreign sector once again acts as the driving force of the regional economy.

 

El International Active Program has been prepared by the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior through Extenda-Andalusian Foreign Promotion Agency, and has had the participation and consensus of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs and the Andalusian Council of Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Services and Navigation.

 

The program includes short-term measures, via extend, to reactivate the international activity of companies, especially in the sectors most affected by the crisis derived from Covid-19, and divided into three blocks: the creation of a map of export opportunities in recovering markets and an action plan for especially affected sectors; a plan to support and protect the exporting company through specialized consulting; and adaptation and improvement of Extenda services, through business intelligence and measures to improve the liquidity of companies, worth 1,5 million euros until June 2021 and from which 600 companies will benefit.

 

 

The Andalusian Government has responded quickly since the start of the pandemic, adapting Extenda's services to the online environment and speaking with more than 1.700 companies, associations, importers and distributors to understand their needs and act in the most agile and tailored way.

 

El Active Plan responds to short-term business needs with an orderly and effective strategy to support companies through extend, with the expert knowledge provided by its external network and through business intelligence strategies.

 

The execution of this program entails an additional cost that will be covered with the budget allocation that the company currently has. Andalusian Foreign Promotion Agency, since its programming has been affected by the suspension or postponement of numerous actions abroad, such as trade missions or international fairs, due to restrictions on international movements.

 

Synergies to capture opportunities

 

It is noteworthy that the Activa International program includes the creation of a map of export opportunities in recovering markets, which will be reached through actions of specific promotion and marketing mix, with an action plan for sectors especially affected by the impact of Covid-19.

 

The objective is to generate commercial synergies, establishing new alliances with importers and distributors that bring Andalusian products to these markets. For it, Andalucía will bet on quality and innovation as a positioning strategy of their products and services, as well as through a greater connection with the consumer, through personal experiences and storytelling.

 

The main markets in which Extenda has detected new business opportunities are European, such as United Kingdom, Germany, France or Poland, which, due to proximity and approval within the European Union of their security measures against the pandemic, offer more guarantees in commercial transactions. But there are also interesting business niches in markets that will allow Andalusian sales to diversify and strengthen their position in other destinations, such as United States, Morocco, China, Canada, Arab Emirates or Brazil. In addition, an action plan is included for sectors especially affected by the impact of the COVID-19.

 

 

The Activa Internacional Program represents a substantial improvement in the conditions of service provision by Extenda, with the use of business intelligence, through big data, as well as measures to provide all possible liquidity to Andalusian companies, worth 1,5 million euros and from which it is estimated that 600 companies will benefit.

 

Accompaniment and flat rate

 

Andalusian companies will also have an individualized support plan, through which consulting programs that are especially useful in the current situation will be made available to them. Through them, they will be able to carry out a diagnosis to evaluate their potential for Capabilities and define your strategy abroad, receive advice for online marketing through marketplaces, design your identity strategy and brand positioning in the international markets, launch an international digital marketing plan, as well as promote a business plan for the implementation abroad.

 

They will also have legal advice in the commercial, labor and tax fields, as well as with help to optimize the financial structure of companies. Likewise, they will have at their disposal the tools to develop individualized contingency plans for those companies affected by the Brexit.
