Andalucía TRADE opens new business opportunities for the industry and agri-food sector in Belgium, the fastest-growing market in 2024.

 

Andalucía TRADE, the public agency for the internationalization of the Andalusian economy, has intensified its efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of strategic sectors such as industrial and agri-food in Europe. Recently, the agency organized a trade mission in Belgium and Netherlands, as well as an online technical workshop for the agri-food sector, with the aim of opening new doors for Andalusian companies.

During the event, Diego Canga, Deputy Director-General for Agriculture and Rural Development at the European Commission, highlighted the advantages of these products, emphasizing their "certified quality, guaranteed authenticity, market exclusivity, and official EU endorsement."

 

These initiatives are supported by data confirming Belgium as a particularly important market for the Andalusian economy. In 2024, the country consolidated its position as the Top 10 fastest growing market for the community's exports, reaching a historic record of 1.254 million euros, which is a del% increase 38 compared to the previous year.
