The Ministry of Economy, Finance and European Funds, through Andalusia TRADE-Business Agency for Transformation and Economic Development, was released for the first time in the 13th edition of the Transfer Forum with a prominent presence in the institutional exhibition area of the Junta de Andalucía managed by the Department of University, Research and Innovation, where it has had 230 square meters in which it has deployed its extensive portfolio of services, designed to promote competitiveness, business internationalization ylto attract foreign investment.
The entity, about to celebrate its first year of life, was born at the initiative of the Andalusian Government to bring together and unify all the activity that supports the business sector of the region, acting as a driving force for development and economic transformation. The Board thus fulfilled a historic demand of the Andalusian business community: the creation of a single window for agile dialogue and more connected to the company.
During the event, which took place in Malaga On March 20, 21 and 22, Andalucía TRADE took advantage of the more than 4.500 professionals in attendance to disseminate the tools it has and will soon have to improve the quality and size of the regional productive fabric, business innovation and public collaboration. private, as well as to promote the creation of new companies and the internationalization and consolidation of existing ones.
The agency thus joins the set of innovation intermediary organizations that act as facilitators of innovation. knowledge transfer in Andalusia and that articulate mechanisms and tools to promote interaction between R&D&I generating agents and the business sector.
The exhibition area, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union, has had several meeting points and work areas from which it has provided advice and technical support to both visitors and users who have previously arranged meetings using the Forum tool. Furthermore, Andalucía TRADE has had a prominent role in the content program of the event, especially in the 'Andalucía Knowledge Transfer' space, which was inaugurated by the Minister of University, Research and Innovation, Jose Carlos Gomez Villamandos, and the Minister of Economy, Finance and European Funds, Carolina España.
At the inauguration, the counselor announced that the drafts of the regulatory bases for the first lines of incentives have been published. These aid, for a global amount of 276,7 million euros, will be managed through Andalucía TRADE and will be available from May.
Likewise, Andalucía TRADE has participated through the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) as an evaluation body in the initiative IV Open Call for Deep Tech Start UP, launched by Transfer to give European startups with deep tech projects the opportunity to present their projects and lines of work to national and international investors who are experts in the sector.
