The president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid, Ángel Asensio, has participated in the 51st General Assembly of the Ibero-American Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services (AICO), held in Buenos Aires and organized by the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and ServicesWithin the framework of this international meeting, which has brought together companies and entities from more than 21 countries, Asensio participated in the panel entitled "Readings on international politics and its impact on the business world. Keys to positioning in the Ibero-American region."
During his speech, Asensio stressed the importance of the political decisions and its impact on the real economy, emphasizing that “government policies must be aligned with the interests of businesses to create a favorable environment that enables sustainable growth.” Furthermore, he stressed the need to create flexible and resilient business ecosystems, noting that “SMEs must be the driving force behind this transformation toward greater global integration in a strategic and sustainable manner.”
The event focused on promoting institutional cooperation in networks for the development of business ecosystems dynamic that allow SMEs to take advantage of international opportunities, thus contributing to the economic growth of the countries involved.
