The president of CEOE, Antonio Garamendi, has participated, as a guest speaker, in the Tertulias of the Directors' Club of the Spanish-Japanese business organization Shacho Kai.

The president of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), Antonio Garamendi, participated in the Directors Club Gatherings of the Spanish-Japanese association Shacho Kai. A meeting that brought together prominent representatives of the Spanish and Japanese business world to analyze the current economic situation and bilateral investment opportunities.
Garamendi offered a panoramic view of the Spanish economic panorama, highlighting the recovery of GDP after the pandemic, the resilience of the business fabric and the structural reforms underway to improve the country's competitiveness.
Within the framework of the gathering, those sectors in which Japanese investment has a greater presence in Spain were analyzed with special attention, such as the automotive industry, renewable energy, tourism or the agri-food industry.
Garamendi highlighted the climate of trust and legal security that Spain offers for foreign investors, as well as the high qualification of the Spanish workforce.
The president of CEOE International, Marta White, also participated in the discussion, highlighting the importance of collaboration between Spain and Japan in the economic field. Blanco highlighted the role of CEOE International as a bridge between Spanish companies and those from other countries, including Japan.
The meeting was attended by the Japanese ambassador to Spain, Takahiro Nakamae, as well as the presidents of Shacho Kai, José Antonio Cabello, and of Spain Nissho, Hiroyuki Kitahara.
