With the participation of 84 galleries from 15 countries
The 7th edition of ARCOlisboa, an international contemporary art fair organized by IFEMA MADRID and the Municipal Chamber of Lisbon, will open its doors from May 23 to 26 at the Cordoaria Nacional.

This event will consolidate the Portuguese capital as one of the main artistic and cultural centers of Europe, bringing together collectors, gallery owners, artists and professionals in the sector from all over the world.
ARCOlisboa 2024 will present a diverse and high-quality program, with the participation of 84 galleries from 15 countries. The General Program, made up of 59 galleries, will include established names such as Bruno Múrias, Cristina Guerra Contemporary Art or CarrerasMugica, along with new additions such as Charim, adn galeria or L21.
The curated sections, OPENING Lisbon and As Formas do Oceano, will bring freshness and unique perspectives to the fair. OPENING Lisboa, with 17 galleries, will explore new artistic languages, while As Formas do Oceano, with 8 galleries, will focus on the relationships between Africa, the African diaspora and other latitudes.
The Millennium Art Talks program, organized by EGEAC, will offer a space for debate and reflection on contemporary art. Professionals like Adelaide Duarte, Marta Pérez Ibáñez or Igor Simões They will share their perspectives on various topics.
ARCOlisboa has made a special effort to attract collectors and professionals in the sector. More than 150 international guests are expected to attend, who will be able to enjoy a complete program of activities and events.
The participation of Portuguese galleries represents 33% of the fair, with a total of 28 galleries. The international segment stands at 67% -56 galleries-, especially from Europe, with a significant presence from countries such as Spain, Germany, France and Austria
The general public will be able to enjoy ARCOlisboa from May 24 to 26. Admission will be free for young people under 25 years of age on Saturday the 25th starting at 15:00 p.m.
Coinciding with ARCOlisboa, Lisbon will offer an extensive parallel cultural program, with inaugurations, visits to exhibitions and private collections, and other events. The main museums of the city, such as the MAAT, the MAC/CCB or the National Museum of Contemporary Art, they will present interesting exhibitions.
