Argentina and Ecuador exchange business experiences in Quito

The delegation is headed by diplomat Luis Marís Kreckler

An Argentine delegation is in Quito to exchange business experiences with industrial groups from Ecuador, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today.

The Argentine delegation, headed by diplomat Luis María Kreckler, will participate in the seminar "Argentine Experience in Trade Promotion", along with officials from the Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry, as well as representatives of the country's Chambers of Industry and Commerce, a statement from the Ministry said.

The bilateral meeting, which will conclude this Thursday, will seek to strengthen the promotion of the external management of both countries, undertake commercial actions and exchange processes for small and medium-sized enterprises, the Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry indicated.

The visit of the Argentine trade delegation to Quito took place after the signing of a "memorandum of understanding" between the presidents of Argentina, Néstor Kirchner, and Ecuador, Rafael Correa, on September 20.

On that occasion, both leaders also signed several trade, food and social development cooperation agreements in Buenos Aires, among others.
