Ivace+i Internacional, under the direction of the Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism, has reinforced its commitment to promoting the Valencian Community's chemical sector abroad by hosting a delegation of international guests. This initiative coincides with the Eco Chemicals Solutions trade fair at Feria Valencia, a key event for the industry.

This initiative is part of the 14 international guest missions that Ivace+i International has scheduled for the last quarter of the year, as explained Ester Olivas"We invite importing companies with purchasing potential to learn firsthand about our companies' offerings, thus maximizing new business opportunities," Olivas stated, emphasizing the importance of these face-to-face meetings, whether at trade fairs or at the headquarters of Valencian companies.
Eight Strategic Buyers at Eco Chemicals Solutions
In collaboration with the sector association QuimacovaIvace+i Internacional has managed the visit of eight purchasing companies from Senegal, Brazil, India and Ivory CoastThese companies are participating in the fair Eco Chemicals Solutions, organized by Quimacova in Valencia Fair, which extends until November 13.
The Indian delegation includes Krishna Valley Agrotech, Aurashine Essentials, Indichem Specialty Fertilizers, Aries Agro and JJ Oveseaswith a predominant focus on fertilizers and cosmetics. Since BrazilAgrobiotech, also specializing in fertilizers, is participating. The mission is completed with Dioubo Sarl from Senegal and Kleenjet from Ivory Coast, the latter specializing in cleaning products.
During their stay, the importing companies will maintain a busy schedule of meetings. B2B (Meetings between two companies) with Valencian companies in the sector. It is expected that meetings will be held more than a hundred meetings with the aim of generating direct business and strategic alliances.
The Chemical Sector: Export Engine of the Valencian Community
The Valencian chemical sector—which encompasses everything from organic and inorganic products, pharmaceuticals, and fertilizers to plastics—is a fundamental pillar of the region's economy. It represents a 14% of the total exported by the Valencian Community, placing it as the third most exporting Spanish region in this field, with 8% of the national exports of the sector in 2024.
In 2024, chemical exports reached 5.032 millones de eurosFrance, Italy, Portugal, and the United States are its main markets. Plastics stand out as the most in-demand product, accounting for 32% of the sector's total value.
The positive trend continues in the period from January to August 2025, with exports already amounting to 3.426,44 millones de eurosFrance consolidates its position as the top destination (12,5%), and alongside Italy, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Morocco, the United States, and the United KingdomThey account for more than half (53,76%) of the total exported during that period.
