The president of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Josep Santacreu, has been unanimously elected as the new leader of the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME). His appointment coincides with the launch of the Barcelona Declaration for Mediterranean Economic Development, a key document that sets the strategic roadmap for cooperation and innovation in the region, within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the Barcelona Process.

The Executive Committee of ASCAMEThe assembly, meeting at the Llotja de Mar in Barcelona, ratified the appointment of Josep Santacreu as its new President.
