Murcia boosts export record in Central America with trade mission to Guatemala and El Salvador

The regional government, through INFO, is leading an action to capitalize on the region's economic dynamism, which has already boosted sales by 134% in El Salvador this year.

La Murcia has launched a commercial offensive in Central America to consolidate its growing presence in emerging markets. From today until November 29, a trade mission organized by the Ministry of Business, Employment and Social Economy, through the Development Institute (INFO), is deployed in Guatemala and El Salvador with the aim of strengthening trade ties and opening new opportunities for exporting companies and regional SMEs.

"Central America is transforming its production model and needs the quality and expertise that our companies can offer," he stated. He underscored that the figures confirm this interest, with regional exports reaching "historic levels."

 

Accelerated Growth: El Salvador's Purchases Soar

The trade mission includes individual meeting schedules, encounters with key importers and distributors, and visits to local companies, seeking to establish stable, long-term relationships.

 

This action is part of the Foreign Promotion Plan 2025, an initiative of the regional government in collaboration with the Chambers of Commerce, which seeks to expand the export base and consolidate the presence of the Region of Murcia in markets with sustained growth.

 

López Aragón concluded that the mission's main objective transcends simply increasing sales: “The goal of this mission is not only to increase sales, but to open stable trade relations that connect the Region of Murcia with emerging economies committed to modernization.”
