IAG Cargo offers a new direct route to Dakar (Senegal) from Madrid to meet the growing demand in the transport of goods between Europe and West Africa. In total, IAG Cargo offers more than 26 weekly flights to the region with direct flights from London Heathrow to Accra (Ghana) or Lagos and Abuja (Nigeria), among others, to which Dakar has added since Madrid-Barajas.

The route to Dakar is the first direct flight that the company offers in Senegal. Iberia It operates these flights with five frequencies a week and using the Airbus A-330 and A350 models with an approximate capacity of 20 and 30 tons of cargo, respectively.
Through IAG Cargo's extensive network, this direct route will facilitate the import of electronic and pharmaceutical products, and will also allow perishable products such as green beans, mangoes, melons or fish to reach United States and Asia Pacific as quickly as possible through the Madrid hub.
