Present fashion brands Asturias at the portuguese market and getting to know first-hand one of the most important fair events in the fashion sector in this country are the objectives of visiting the fair. Modtissimo, organized by the Principality of Asturias Foreign Promotion Society, SA (Asturex) on September 6 and 7 in Porto.
7 Asturian fashion companies participate in this activity, of which three are focused on women's fashion in general: COCO, NEREIDE ASTURIAS, ULTRAMMAR; specialized fashion for ceremony CHUS RODRIGUEZ (children's ceremony fashion), WEDDING WITH MARY (bridal fashion) and NURIA ORDIALES (guest); and one specialized in bags and fur coats: YES50.
Modtissimo Since 1992, it has brought together manufacturers of fabrics and clothing accessories, clothing manufacturers (adults and children), fashion brands (adults and children) and related services in the sector. For the first time at the fairgrounds EXPONOR of Porto, groups into its different sections: fabrics and accessories for clothing and own brand clothing (adults and children); as well as the innovation business forums (iTechStyle), trends in fabrics and accessories, children's trends and new talents, the ITechSyle Green Circle sustainability showcase, the new talent contest and various trend presentations, seminars or workshops.

The general director of Asturex will hold meetings with leading entities for the fashion and agri-food sectors in Portugal, with the aim of evaluating possible collaborative actions
Meetings to establish collaboration agreements
The general director of Asturex, Bruno Lopez, accompanies Asturian companies and will hold meetings with Ana Dinis, director of the ATP (Associação Têxtil e Vestuário de Portugal) and Manuel Serrao, general director of the ASM (Associação Seletiva Moda), organizing entity of the fair, with the aim of promoting knowledge and business between Asturias and Portugal and strengthening ties with the most important Portuguese association in the sector and the fair organization. The objective is to establish future collaborations for Asturian fashion companies and brands, thereby reinforcing the image of Asturias as a creator of fashion.
The general director's agenda includes a meeting with Asturian companies to learn first-hand about their needs and opinions about the fair, a networking aimed at sharing concerns and identifying synergies.
Bruno López will also hold a meeting with Cesar Araujo, President of ANIVEC, National Association of Clothing and Clothing Industries, another of the fashion associations in Portugal, with which the foreign promotion society is analyzing possible collaborations on joint projects.
Taking advantage of the visit, the general director of Asturex will add a meeting with Deolinda Silva, director of Portugal Foods, to learn about the association and see the possibility of collaborating in activities for the Asturian agri-food sector in 2023.

Currently, 49 Asturian fashion brands participate in different categories: women's fashion, men's fashion, children's fashion, accessories, footwear, sustainable fashion and luxury fashion.
