The Hotelatelier group opens its first hotel outside of Spain and chooses Portugal

 

The opening of the hotel IWITH Duplo Ribeira marks the first milestone within the group's international expansion strategy Hotelatelier. With 54 rooms and an enviable location, next to the banks of the Douro River and the Luis I Bridge, the ICON Duplo Ribeira offers a very special stay in one of the most interesting cities in the Portuguese country.

 

Even after a few tough years of pandemic, the Hotelatelier group has managed to expand its presence in Europe with this new opening, which marks the beginning of its growth plans outside of Spain with its first ICON hotel in Porto.

 

The central and traditional neighborhood of Ribeira, made up of steep streets full of traditional shops and new gastronomic proposals, is the place where the two buildings that make up the ICON Duplo Ribeira. Each one houses a different design proposal for guests, but they share the excellence and quality of service that define the group's hotels.

The Original building has a more traditional and classic aesthetic proposal, which respects the architectural and historical identity of Porto with granite lintels, tiled walls and a large skylight that gives natural light to the main staircase. Your majestic suite offers spectacular views of the cathedral and the fascinating mosaic of roofs that define the Porto skyline. In the lobby, guests also have a space to enjoy breakfast, made with the best ingredients and with nods to exceptional Portuguese gastronomy.

 

In turn, the Custom building, is a more synthetic proposal, but without leaving behind decorative elements that anchor it to the city of Porto. This space has a harmoniously selected color range, granite walls, as well as various wooden materials that directly connect it with the centuries-old winery tradition of this city, famous for its wine. In addition, this building has a very special room configuration that includes some in duplex format.

 

Interesting, full of tradition and modernity, in constant evolution, this is Porto and this is also the new ICON Duplo Ribeira, reflecting all this with its original proposal for a unique and special stay in this city that has become one of the most promising of Europe.
