El Government of Castile-La Mancha through the Institute for Foreign Promotion of Castilla-La Mancha (IPEX) has promoted the group participation of WINE companies in the “B2B WINE MEETING SWITZERLAND 2022”, which took place on November 15, 2022 in the city of Zurich (Switzerland).
During this meeting, 15 importers from the most important entities in the country have had the opportunity to taste the wines of each winery in addition to learning in depth about the particularities of the wines of Castilla-La Mancha, whose characteristics adapt perfectly to the market.
The activity has been structured into 2 different parts. A first part consisting of a business round of wineries with importers followed by a second part to maximize its impact, which began with the celebration of a dinner paired with wines from the participating wineries where the region was made known through the main references of each winery.
The objective of this activity has been to bring the wineries of Castilla-La Mancha closer to the market that, despite its small size, has high levels of consumption of quality wine and which will be carried out through meetings with importers and retailers. with direct purchasing capacity.
