Qatar Tourism is committed to strengthening its position in the Spanish market and appoints Newlink Spain as a representation agency in the tourism sector. The consulting firm, with more than 25 years of experience in the sector, will be in charge of developing the strategy and managing relationships with tour operators and travel agents in Spain, increasing knowledge of Qatar and positioning it as a final and stopover destination, through training, promotion and collaboration agreements with various stakeholders.
Although Qatar is experiencing one of its most exciting moments and expects to receive more than a million visitors during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM, Qatar Tourism's strategy goes beyond the tournament and focuses on boosting travel with the goal of welcoming more than six million visitors a year by 2030. This will make Qatar in the destination with the fastest growth rate in the Middle East.
