The city of Melilla will host a Franchise Day next Tuesday, January 31, which is organized by SDEYF Consultores, sponsored by Proyecto Melilla SA (PROMESA) and has the collaboration of the Spanish Association of Franchisors (AEF). An event that will be held at the Hotel Melilla Puerto, from 9:15 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.
The main objective of this day, as explained Jesús Capitán, CEO of the franchise consultancy SDEYF, is to “support entrepreneurship in Melilla, as well as resolve doubts and expand information on franchising, serve as a space for reflection on other business models, and create and increase the network of contacts of people who participate in the event".
In turn, and from her position as moderator of the event, Zapata Helper, independent advisor, states that “in an environment concerned about sustainability criteria and the 2030 Agenda, franchising is an appropriate solution for the inclusion of diversity and sustainability in organizations, allowing the improvement of competitiveness and employability” .
The day's program will be developed with the following schedule:
9:15 a.m.: reception of the participants in the day.
9:30 a.m.: institutional inauguration. Presentation and moderation of the day,
position of Auxiliadora Zapata, advisor and expert counselor.
10:00 a.m.: presentation by Eduardo Abadía, Executive Director of the Spanish Association of Franchisors, on “The current situation of franchises in Spain.”
10:45 a.m.: coffee break.
11:15 a.m.: presentation by Jesús Capitán, CEO of SDEYF Consultores, on “The Future of Franchising.”
12:00 p.m.: presentation by Francisco Llamas, McDonald's franchisee, about his “Franchise Experience in Melilla.”
12:15 p.m.: debate and round of questions.
12:30 p.m.: networking among attendees and free advice from SDEYF Consultores to interested parties.
14:00 p.m.: end of the day.
In addition to the morning session, the counseling will also take place in the afternoon, from 17:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m., at the Melilla Puerto Hotel itself. Those interested in receiving this advice on franchises can request an appointment at ppgad@pucrs.br
The event has the collaboration of the AEF, and its Executive Director, Eduardo Abadía, comments in this regard that "we will be in Melilla supporting our partner SDEYF and making attendees aware of the current situation that the franchise is experiencing in Spain and introducing this business model in a city where it is taking its first steps."
Thus, Melilla has an unmissable appointment with the franchise on January 31, led by SDEYF Consultores, PROMESA and the Spanish Association of Franchisors.
